Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Vengera collects and uses personal data through this website and while providing IT support, computer repair, website and digital services.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Deivydas Vengercevas trading as Vengera is the data controller for the processing described in this notice. Vengera is a sole trader based in Long Eaton, United Kingdom.

Privacy enquiries and requests can be sent to [email protected].

2. Information Vengera may collect

Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, special-category personal data or confidential client information in a general website enquiry unless Vengera has specifically requested a suitable secure method.

3. Why the information is used

4. Lawful bases

Depending on the context, Vengera relies on:

5. Cookies, local storage and analytics

The site stores the analytics choice in the browser's local storage so the banner does not need to appear on every page. This preference is used for site operation and does not itself load Google Analytics.

If you select Accept analytics, the site loads Google Analytics 4 and analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* may be set. Google processes information about use of the site on Vengera's behalf. If you decline, the Google Analytics script is not loaded by this site.

Use the Cookie settings control at the bottom of any page to change your choice. If analytics consent is withdrawn, the site records the declined choice, removes Google Analytics cookies that it can access and reloads the current page so analytics is no longer active. See Google's privacy policy and Google's Analytics privacy information.

6. Service providers and recipients

Vengera uses providers that support website hosting and delivery, form routing, email, business administration, cloud services and optional analytics. These providers may process personal data only to provide their services and under their applicable contracts and privacy terms. Current website infrastructure includes Cloudflare services; optional analytics is provided by Google.

Information may also be shared with professional advisers, specialist subcontractors or technology suppliers where necessary for authorised work, with the client's knowledge where appropriate. Personal data may be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights. Vengera does not sell personal data.

7. International processing

Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires it, Vengera relies on an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism. Provider privacy information explains the locations and safeguards used for their services.

8. Security and access during technical work

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect business records and limit access. IT support and repair may involve systems that contain personal or confidential data. Clients should identify sensitive data, encryption, access restrictions and backup concerns before work starts. Credentials should be changed or withdrawn when continued access is no longer required.

9. Retention

Information is kept only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, applicable legal obligations and the handling of potential claims. As a general guide:

10. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, individuals may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data; object to processing; receive certain data in a portable format; and withdraw consent. Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions.

To make a request, email [email protected]. Vengera may need to verify identity before disclosing or changing personal data.

11. Complaints

Please contact Vengera first so the concern can be reviewed. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Guidance and contact details are available at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

12. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when services, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and last-updated date are published on this page.
