IT support designed for smaller organisations
Derby organisations may rely on a mixture of established equipment, cloud services and specialist business software. Vengera can resolve defined faults, improve weak points and help plan replacements in a controlled order rather than changing everything at once.
Support can be used for a single issue or arranged as an ongoing plan. In both cases, the objective is the same: reduce disruption, make sensible technical decisions and leave the business with a clearer, more reliable setup.
What Vengera can support
- Microsoft 365 and business email: account setup, Outlook issues, domain configuration and everyday administration.
- Computers and user setup: new devices, software problems, performance issues and secure handover between staff.
- Wi-Fi, networks and printers: fault-finding, configuration and practical improvements for small workplaces.
- Backups and data protection: checking what is protected, identifying gaps and setting up an appropriate routine.
- Security basics: updates, malware checks, safer account configuration, multi-factor authentication and recovery planning.
- Technology planning: advice before purchasing devices, software or services, including repair-versus-replace decisions.
One-off support or an ongoing plan
Ad-hoc support is suitable for a defined problem, setup task or occasional advice. Labour starts at £40 per hour, with the first hour charged in full and additional time billed in 30-minute blocks.
Monthly support is available from £49 per month. Business Support starts at £149 per month. The users, devices, services, fair-use limits and response arrangements are documented before a plan begins.
Parts, licences, subscriptions and other third-party costs are additional and approved before purchase. See the full pricing guide for more detail.
Local and remote coverage
Remote and arranged on-site support is available across Derby and nearby locations, including:
- Derby city centre and Pride Park
- Alvaston, Spondon and Chaddesden
- Mickleover and Littleover
- Chellaston and Sinfin
- Long Eaton and the wider Derby–Nottingham corridor
Remote support is often the fastest practical option for software, email and account issues. On-site work is arranged when the physical network, equipment or workplace needs to be inspected.
A clear way of working
- Describe the issue: explain the symptoms, business impact and any deadline.
- Review the requirement: Vengera identifies the likely route to diagnosis or resolution.
- Agree the cost: the applicable rate, scope and any third-party costs are confirmed before work begins.
- Resolve and explain: completed work, remaining risks and useful next actions are set out clearly.
Frequently asked questions
Can you support a workshop or mixed office environment?
Yes, after the environment and equipment are assessed. Dust, heat, vibration, old operating systems and machinery-connected computers can create extra constraints, so risks and safe boundaries are agreed before changes are made.
Can poor broadband or Wi-Fi be improved?
Vengera can test the local network, Wi-Fi coverage and device setup, then separate internal problems from limitations in the internet service. Provider availability and building constraints may affect the available solution.
Can you help us replace several old computers?
Yes. A staged plan can cover specification, purchasing advice, data transfer, Microsoft 365 setup, security and retirement of the old devices. Hardware is purchased only after the specification and cost are approved.
Is on-site support available throughout Derby?
Yes, by arrangement and subject to availability. Vengera will first decide whether remote work can resolve the problem more efficiently, then confirm travel and timing for any required visit.
