Start with the job the website needs to do
A website can generate enquiries, explain a service, support a sales conversation, provide information or enable transactions. The right structure depends on that objective and on what a prospective customer needs to trust the business and take the next step.
Vengera works with small businesses, sole traders and independent organisations that need a focused site without unnecessary features or unclear ownership.
Website services
- New business websites: a complete responsive site with clear navigation, service information and enquiry routes.
- Website redesigns: restructuring dated or unclear sites while preserving useful content and search value where possible.
- Landing pages: focused pages for a service, campaign, location or specific customer action.
- Online shops: product, checkout and payment functionality appropriate to the catalogue and fulfilment process.
- Custom digital tools: booking flows, dashboards, integrations and automations scoped around a defined business process.
- Ongoing maintenance: agreed updates, backups, monitoring and content support after launch.
What a website project includes
Every proposal defines the exact deliverables, but a typical business website covers:
- Project goals, audience and page structure
- Responsive layouts for mobile, tablet and desktop
- Implementation of supplied or separately agreed content
- Contact forms and clear calls to action
- Essential on-page search metadata and technical foundations
- Accessibility, performance and browser checks appropriate to the build
- Launch support and an agreed handover
Project process
- Discovery: define the business outcome, audience, content, features, constraints and measures of success.
- Scope: confirm the pages, functionality, responsibilities, cost, payment schedule and indicative timing.
- Content and design: organise the message and agree a visual direction before full implementation.
- Build and review: develop the site, gather feedback at agreed checkpoints and control requested changes.
- Test and launch: complete the relevant checks, connect the live domain and provide the agreed handover.
Starting prices
- Simple website: one to five pages using supplied content, from £495.
- Business website: a larger site with service pages, forms or article content, from £950.
- Online shop: product catalogue and checkout functionality, from £1,500.
- Custom system: quoted after the workflow and technical requirements are defined.
Domains, hosting, premium software, payment-provider charges, content production, photography and other third-party costs are included only when the written quote says so. See pricing for the site-wide guide.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a website take?
Timing depends on scope, content readiness, feedback and any third-party integrations. The proposal provides an indicative schedule and states what Vengera needs from you to keep the project moving.
Who supplies the text and images?
You can supply approved content, or content planning and copy support can be included as a separate deliverable. Image licensing, photography and brand work are also scoped explicitly rather than assumed.
Can an existing website be redesigned?
Yes. The first step is an audit of the current content, platform, search visibility, domain, hosting and integrations. This identifies what should be retained, rewritten, redirected or rebuilt.
Is SEO included?
Projects include the technical and on-page foundations listed in the proposal. Search performance also depends on competition, authority, content and ongoing work, so rankings are not guaranteed. Broader content or local search work can be quoted separately.
Who owns the domain and website?
Ownership and access are documented in the proposal and handover. Wherever practical, the client should control core accounts such as the domain and analytics. Third-party platforms remain subject to their own licences and terms.
